I am S.Suresh, a bilingual author who writes in Tamil and English.

​

My book of Tamil Short Stories, 'Bageshree', was published in 2018. It was awarded the Sujatha-Uyirmai best short stories collection award for that year (Joint First Prize). My articles have been published in popular Tamil e-zines 'Solvanam' and 'Padhakai'.

​

I have published an e-book of essays about music, titled, 'Music Without Boundaries.  I have finished working on my first novel in English, and it is expected to be published by the end of 2023. My second collection of Tamil Short stories will also be published by the end of 2023 

​

My interests range from reading books, mainly fiction and poetry. I am interested in music and blog about music regularly. I am a huge fan of Shri. Illayaraja's music, and I have a blog dedicated to his music.

I am a Post-Graduate in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. My B. Tech in Chemical Engineering was from the College of Technology, Osmania University, Hyderabad.

Born in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, I spent the first thirty years of my life in Secunderabad. After a brief three-year stint in Chennai, I have been residing in Bangalore since 1998.

I am married to Gayathri and have two daughters, Sriranjani and Harini.
